Significant life events and the passage of time shape my life much like seasoning in a dish – sometimes bold, sometimes subtle, but always leaving an impression. The big moments – losses, triumphs, unexpected detours – are like adding dash of something strong: they can overwhelm you at first, but with time, they blend into the mix, adding depth you didn’t know you needed. The quiet, everyday passage of time is more like a slow simmer, subtly transforming who I am without me noticing until I look back and realise how far I’ve come. Both have taught me that growth isn’t always loud or obvious; sometimes its just about staying in the heat long enough to develop flavour.
